| Every year each of the primary classes undertakes a camping trip and for upper primary this also involves a strong curriculum field study element. In February 1999 the Moshi P4/P5 and P5/P6 classes camped at Machare on the lower fertile slopes of Kilimanjaro and visited Mweka and its Wildlife College.
