Adopt A GardenThe Adopt a Garden is gaining much interest and several gardens are almost complete. This is a difficult and strenuous task for them, and all of us are trying to support them in their efforts. They are ready, a little nervous, and a little eager to get started. I hope you were able to make connections with the work the students are doing in and out of the classroom to the way in which we approach teaching and learning in our school. Heartfelt congratulations go out to everyone who was involved in making this show the success it was. The feeling of pride when we witness our students, your children!, being risk-takers, effective communicators, knowledgeable, well balanced people is a credit to us all. Thank you to our ISM community who supported this very challenging yet meaningful culminating event. We are in the process of coordinating DVDs of the performance which you will be able to purchase from school within the next couple of weeks. During this time Mr. Marcello Mongardi will share with you strategies and techniques you can use to assist your child with reading. You will then be invited to try out some of your new learning in the classrooms with the children.
