Dear Parents, I would like to start this newsletter by thanking Mr. Jack and all the students from P1 to P6 who study French as their Language ‘B’ subject for the assembly they conducted today. It was wonderful to see the student’s involvement in a variety of different scenarios. At the end of the assembly we watched a demonstration on the art of paper rolling and cutting by an art teacher from India. The students, teachers and parents were impressed by what they saw and many of the students purchased the booklet the demonstrator was selling which gave instructions on how to make 20 different paper creations. I have a number of booklets available if anyone wishes to purchase them from me for Tsh1,000/- Sports Meet at IST - May 26thDetails of the weekend in Dar es Salaam will be sent to the students who have been selected next week. I am hoping that we will be able to travel in our newly acquired 27-seater bus which has seatbelts fitted for all passengers. This trip will leave school on Friday May 25th and return on Monday May 28th.After School ActivitiesPlease note that if your child attends an after school activity that is run by an IB1 student that the club will not take part next week i.e. between Monday May 14th and Thursday May 17th as the IB1 students have their assessment week at school. There is one exception, which is the Exhibition Club that will take part as normal.Primary School Production - May 30thI would like to remind parents that costumes for the primary production must be brought to school by Friday May 18th.P1/2 Overnight Camp May 17th-18thPlease can the parents of P1 and P2 students ensure that their child has returned the permission slip and money for this camp by Monday May 18th at the latest.
