View of Ngorongoro Crater In January 1999 the S1 students from both Moshi and Arusha campuses undertook a field study trip to Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Olduvai Gorge, once called the birthplace of man.
The students studied the flora and fauna of Lake Manyara, the formation and geology of the Rift Valley and the unique environment of the world's largest unflooded volcanic crater.
