S3 Science Fair (Moshi - May 2000)

Daniel Hofmann (Germany) Gloria Kobb (USA)
As part of the S3 Science programme, students are asked to undertake an original piece of scientific investigation and to present their work and results both in written form and as a public display. The S3 students from Arusha Campus did this in May 2000 and their Moshi counterparts followed up with a display in June. In many cases the results were due to many weeks of careful work.
Nina Scheinman (USA) Lea Oneko (Germany)
The students' tasks had been to conduct independent scientific research into a subject of their choice and to display their hypotheses, methodology, results and analyses in an appropriate and informative manner. The results were excellent and clearly demonstrated the students' strong understanding of the processes of scientific method. Only a few of the S3 Moshi research projects are shown here.
