What Next?

Component grades (ie the individual grades for each separate paper or for the internal assessment components) are now available on request by email to .

Request a remark: It is possible to request that one of your exam papers is remarked. Be warned - it is expensive to have a paper remarked and your grade could possibly go down after a remark, although it is more likely that there will be no change at all. If you do want a remark, please contact Keiron White on for details.

Retaking Exams: If you wish to retake any diploma examinations in November 2010, you must contact Keiron White on as soon as possible to discuss details. The school's internal registration deadline for retake examinations is on July 20th.

Sending results to university: If you have already requested that the IB sends your results to a university or to UCAS, this should be done automatically. However, if you need ISM to send a formal statement of your results or to send a transcript to any university or college, please contact Keiron White.

UK Conditional Offers: If you have met the requirements of a conditional offer, your place is secured. If you have just failed to meet these requirements by a small margin, you should contact the university department directly by phone and try to determine whether they may still accept you or not.

UK Clearing. If you have failed to meet all conditional offers in the UK, you may enter clearing. Log on to your Track page of the UCAS website and you should see an "Add Clearing Choice" button on that page. (Note: it may take a few days for the UCAS website to update). Full details for using Clearing are available at http://www.ucas.ac.uk/students/nextsteps/clearing.

Liverpool University Clearing: We are opening our International Vacancy Service online on Monday the 12th July at 9am BST. This will allow International applicants to apply online for Undergraduate programmes at the University of Liverpool commencing in September 2010. We will be looking to turn around decisions very quickly for these applicants in order for them to be able to apply for a visa in time for September. For more information, please visit the website: http://www.liv.ac.uk/study/international/Clearing/Clearing_InUse.htm.
