MALARIA
Malaria is a disease caused by blood parasites known as Plasmodium transmitted to man by the bite of the female Anopheles. The female Anopheles is the mosquito which transmits the parasites into our bodies by sucking our blood.
In the 1930’s quinine was the only treatment available . It reduces fever and removes blood parasites .
Malaria has been known since the ancient times . The fever that they produce , the unexpected attacks and the sudden attack of the spleen , and the anemia are described in ancient
Greek.
PREVENTION

The Global program is trying to help to prevent malaria under the support of the World Health Organization. To prevent malaria you have to apply DDT or any other mosquito repellent . By applying DDT it can eliminate malaria.
The Organization has been occurring since the end of WWII . The lack of success of chemical anti mosquito test measures in many parts of the world has an effort of new research in living process and produced methods in mosquito removal. Successfully the science studies on belonging malaria have demonstrated the possibility of active immunization being carried out in several centers, both in primate malaria and human volunteers. It is however too early to predict how far these procedures could be employed in the global program of malaria control and removal.
Although some are under development , no vaccine is currently available for malaria , preventative drugs must be taken cautiously and continuously to reduce the risk of the infection. These drug treatments are often too expensive for most people living poor areas. Most adults from poor areas have the degree of long term re-current infection and also partial resistance. They are strongly recommended to take full cautions, if they return to a poor area . Malaria infections are treated through the use of anti-malarial drugs such as quinine, although the drug resistance is increasingly common.
CAUSES
Mosquitoes transmit parasites. Malaria is caused by plasmodium in humans.. P. Falciparum is the most common cause of infection, responsible for about 80% of all malaria causes.
SYMPTOMS
Symptoms of malaria include fever, shivering, joint pain, vomiting, anemia and there maybe a feeling of tingling in the skin. The classical symptoms of malaria is cyclical occurrence of sudden coldness followed by harshness then fever and sweating lasting about hours.
