Our 2008 IGCSE results were disappointing with a much lower success rate than usual on average with the results of both campuses combined. However some students did perform particularly well and those individuals deserve congratulations.
More detailed statistics of all our results since 1991 are shown below. Note that the results prior to 2002 were for Moshi Campus only.
(In 2007, 63.3% of UK students obtained grades A* to C, compared to 66% at ISM in 2008 and 81% at ISM in 2007)
(A*=8, A=7, B=6, C=5, D=4, E=3, F=2, G=1)
IGCSE Grading System
IGCSE Examinations are graded from A to G with an A* being awarded to candidates who attain a distinction. Entries can be made at two levels, Extended and Core. Extended candidates are eligible for grades A* to E whilst Core candidates are only eligible for grades C to G. Candidates who fail to reach the necessary standard for the award of a grade are given a U.
