Details last updated 14th April 2014
We have one vacancy remaining for August 2014 on the Moshi Campus.
We are seeking a teacher who can take classes in both our MYP and Diploma programmes. Our Swahili classes range from teaching Swahili to beginners, to the Swahili Literature course at higher level in the IB Diploma and the successful candidate should have the experience and flexibility for this. Whilst IB experience is not required, it is a great asset – all applicants will be expected to have experience in teaching international students or curricula. We will aim to provide some training for a teacher employed who does not have previous IB experience.
Any applications for either Moshi or Arusha Campus should include a full CV/resume and the names and addresses (including e-mail addresses) of two professional referees. It is important to include details of any family members who may accompany you; we are unlikely to offer employment to a spouse unless as part of a teaching couple and local employment opportunities are extremely limited. Current Tanzanian regulations mean that we are only able to consider teachers under fifty five years of age.
The school also uses placement agencies to assist in our search for strong teaching candidates. However we encourage direct applications and will not be liable for agency placement fees when teachers contact us directly through this website.
Applications for positions should be made by email to or in writing to The Director, International School Moshi, PO Box 733, Moshi, Kilimanjaro, Tanzania.
