2018/19 School Year

It is expected that most vacancies for the school year 2018/19 will be advertised here from December 2017. However we presently are seeking applications for three teaching positions which start on 1st August 2018.

Mathematics Teacher

To teach IB mathematics classes in both the MYP and Diploma up to Higher Level. IB experience is not required but would be a significant advantage.

General Science Teacher (Middle School) with Maths Studies (IB Diploma) – Arusha Campus

A middle school (MYP) science teacher is needed to work on our Arusha Campus and teach general science to MYP students, as well as to teach Mathematical Studies at IB Diploma level. IB experience is preferred but is not essential.

Science Teacher

To teach various science classes within the MYP. IB experience is not required but would be a significant advantage.

Application Procedures

Any applications for either Moshi or Arusha Campus should include a full CV/résumé and the names and addresses (including e-mail addresses) of two professional referees. It is important to include details of any family members who may accompany you; we are unlikely to offer employment to a spouse unless as part of a teaching couple and local employment opportunities are extremely limited. Current Tanzanian regulations mean that we are only able to consider teachers under fifty five years of age.

As a minimum requirement, all applicants for teaching positions must have a first degree and a teaching qualification that entitles them to teach in their home country. International teaching experience is also desired.

The school also uses placement agencies to assist in our search for strong teaching candidates. However we encourage direct applications and will not be liable for agency placement fees when teachers contact us directly through this website.

Applications for positions should be made by email to:

or in writing to
