A Scholarship to study at ISM: August 2010 - May 2012


International School Moshi is offering two full scholarships for students to study the International Baccalaureate Diploma programme (Forms 5 and 6) as boarders in ISM from August 2010 to May 2012. Applications from Tanzanian students who will successfully complete their national CSEE examinations in Form Four in October/November 2009 will be considered after form four results are issued in February 2010. The closing date for all applications for full scholarships is 8th March 2010. Applications will not be considered before 1st February 2010.

These scholarships include 100% of all tuition, boarding and examination fees and will be granted to Tanzanian students who have shown an outstanding level of achievement in their education.

Please note that applications for 2009 entry have now closed.

Scholarship applicants must:
  • Be a Tanzanian citizen who has completed national form four exams in Tanzania
  • Be an excellent student who obtained 7, 8 or 9 points in your seven best subjects in CSEE exams.
  • Be able to show evidence of your commitment to creative and/or community service activities.
  • Be under 20 years of age in August 2010.
   

Application Procedure

1. Please download and complete the scholarship application form:
      in Microsoft Word format
      in Acrobat PDF format

    Your parent or guardian must sign the application form.

2. Write a letter in English detailing the highs and lows of your schooling to date and explaining how you would benefit from an education at International School Moshi.

3. Attach to these documents a copy of your Form Four exam results, one passport photograph, a copy of your birth certificate, and a copy of your last school report.

4. Either post all these documents to Scholarship Applications, International School Moshi, PO Box 733, Moshi to arrive between 1st February and 8th March 2010,
  or scan all documents and email them to .

Subsequent Procedures

Successful applicants will be notified by email, so please ensure that you have included an email address.
A short list of successful applicants will be invited to Moshi for an interview and some tests during March. From these candidates, it is expected that we will offer two scholarship places by the end of March 2010 for entry to the school in August 2010.
