Our Outdoor Pursuit's programme offers students the opportunity to climb Mount Kilimanjaro or Mount Meru through a graded series of climbs taken over two or more years. The most demanding climb is to Uhuru Peak (5895m) on Kilimanjaro which is undertaken with a full pack. This trip in June 2004 chose to climb by one of the more difficult routes.
In 2004 ISM is celebrating 35 years of providing quality education in Africa including the first IB diploma programme on the continent.
