A Matter of Wife and Death by Eugène Labiche and Edouard Martin (La Lettre Chargée) was performed in Karibu Hall on Moshi Campus towards the end of term in June 2000. This was the second and last in our series French farces performed this year. A Slap in the Farce was performed in March.
Cast: Isabelle Boisvert, Hans van der Velden, Sagar Chibber and Natalie Alsworth-Elvey
On the same evening, The Moshi Players presented their first public performance in the form of a couple of comedy sketches, and Rosalind Johansson exhibited her artwork in Images of Africa.
Congratulations to the cast, the director Robert Iyer, and to all others who helped with the production, especially Ian McGill for the set, Anne Schwarz for the make-up, and Leonie van Klinken for the costumes.
