Due to the shortened length of last week I decided against a newsletter but as I sit here refreshed after a couple of days gallivanting in the spectacular Tanzanian countryside, I have changed my mind! We have some super photos to look back on from last week and then at least two spectacular events coming up next week.
Last week we enjoyed the most fabulous evening of live music courtesy of the PTA Cheese and Wine evening. (See above). The purpose of the evening was really to enable the community to come together to chat about anything and everything including the exciting UWC developments, in a wonderfully warm and relaxed environment. Thank you PTA and particularly Nathalie and Maral for organising the event.
First we have Dr Jane Goodall, world famous anthropologist coming to Arusha Campus to share her experiences. PLEASE get your tickets early (from Caroline or me at Reception) as demand will be unsurprisingly high. They will be available from lunchtime onwards tomorrow (Monday).
Then on Saturday next week we have the Khanga Gala (see below). This event was amazing last year and promises to be even better this year. The dinner will be held on Moshi Campus and is entirely devoted to fundraising for our ISM Scholarship Fund. There will be a silent auction, amazing raffle prizes, great food and music!. Everyone is welcome. Tickets are just TZS65 000 and we will be providing transport from Arusha Campus and back on the night. Please ask for details and for a ticket if you wish to reserve one.
Have a super week!
