2019/20 School Year
Chemistry and Mathematics Teacher

An experienced teacher of both Chemistry and Mathematics to include MYP and Diploma classes up to Diploma Higher Level Chemistry and Standard Level Mathematics. IB Diploma or MYP experience in either or both subjects will be a significant advantage, but is not required.

Primary Class Teacher

We are seeking a primary class teacher. Previous PYP training and experience of the PYP is essential.

Drama Teacher

An experienced Drama teacher to teach Drama to our MYP classes. Previous MYP experience will be a significant advantage, but is not required. A commitment to the development of Drama and Theatre across the campus will also be expected.

Application Procedures

Any applications for either Moshi or Arusha Campus should include a full CV/résumé and the names and addresses (including e-mail addresses) of two professional referees. It is important to include details of any family members who may accompany you; we are unlikely to offer employment to a spouse unless as part of a teaching couple and local employment opportunities are extremely limited. Current Tanzanian regulations mean that we are only able to consider teachers under fifty five years of age who have a minimum of three years’ teaching experience.

As a minimum requirement, all applicants for teaching positions must have a first degree and a teaching qualification that entitles them to teach in their home country. International teaching experience is also desired. All teachers of diploma level subjects are required to have a minimum of three years’ teaching experience at a similar level, such as IB Diploma, AP, or Advanced Level experience
